Wow! Another Christmas in Australia, I'm starting to get used to the beach and the BBQ... That's why I'm trying to keep the (really bizarre) Catalan traditions at home.

The solitude portraits

It has been a few years since I left my previous life behind, on the other side of the world. I miss my family, my friends, my language and my culture, and despite having started a new life, a new family, in a new country, I still, from time to time, feel I am out of my place, I feel alone, uncomfortable, awkward, lost...In this series of portraits I am trying to depict those emotions. Those portrayed are not individuals, they are just mirrored images of my soul.
